Overview

The On-Premise Server Setup project involved the complete provisioning and configuration of a dedicated Ubuntu Server environment. Starting from hardware initialization, the setup was designed to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and secure operations. This process encompassed storage configuration, network security implementation, performance optimization, and application service deployment, resulting in a reliable and efficient server infrastructure ready for production workloads.

Key Features

  1. RAID Storage Mirroring – Configured RAID mirroring for data redundancy and improved fault tolerance.
  2. Firewall Configuration – Implemented strict firewall rules to control traffic flow and protect against unauthorized access.
  3. Security Hardening – Applied best practices for securing the server, including disabling unnecessary services, updating packages, and enforcing strong authentication.
  4. Application Service Deployment – Installed and configured essential application services for optimal performance and reliability.

This on-premise server setup ensures a secure, stable, and performance-driven infrastructure, capable of supporting mission-critical applications with minimal downtime. Through careful planning and robust configuration, the server is optimized for both operational efficiency and long-term scalability.
